When analysing the advertising for haribo, I started off
looking at a television advert.
The narrative of the advert is about a young boy and young
girl who like each other and they both have fantastics
Did the story in your opinion help to make the advert
effective or not? Story made sence but wasn’t effective to be able to sell as
many of the products
I then looked at what camera angles were used in the advert
and why they chose those shots. The
adverts started with a wide shot to to see the surrounding to try and see what
the story is about and where it is all set. They used along shot for both
characters and as the camera switch between then the show would get closer and
closer
They also used a product shot to show people what the
product is sand what it looks like for when they see it in the shops.
I also noticed how the mis-en-scene was used to further help
to sell the product. Mise-en-scene (What
colours, sets and props are used? Why?)normal colours in everyday life
The sounds and music used in the advert was birds in the air
they have use the ride noices from the fairground. Girl over takes and makes a
noice when she has one of the tangfastics
I think it was good/bad and helped the overall feel of the
advert etc I think that the story did not hel with seling the product
The advertising techniques used in the advert was eye candythis
was easily identified as when the boy seen the girl who thought wow she
beautiful and they used inject drama by making a dramatic sceen when the girl
and boy lik each other
I think overall the advert was effective/not effective
because was not effective as it wasn’t about haribo as they only eat a sweet
but nothing saying anything about it
they have lots of props to make it seem like they are at a fun fair with his family
they have alot of close up and long shots for the camera shots
